[ nomades  (Greek word for nomads) < community of people who move from one place to another,  never settling somewhere for good. Nomadism has been a driving force for progress. Most great discoveries and inventions (fire, the wheel, clothing, weapons, art, music) were born inside nomadic societies.]In 2011, [nomadesartcore] was founded as a non-profit organization with the purpose of redefining theatre in relation to other art forms as well as to society and people. Given that society is a perpetually shifting living organism, motion, observation, change and composition are our tools in the way to creation. It is an effort to rediscover the reason and the how-to of representations nowadays. Placing the human being in the centre, with speech that is being born inside us and creates dialogues, we listen and express ourselves through artistic journeys.
Motion and insecurity are our only fixed points. The goal is to gather together different lives, to find connections with people and create cores that can exist on their own, make suggestions, express themselves

                                           a tragedy in five dimensions, the first theatrical venture of the group,
                       that was presented  in Alkmini Theatre in October 2011
 Verses of the national poet of Palestine Mahmoud Darwish 
met on stage those of Greece’s national poet, Dionysios Solomos
giving voice to images of siege and focusing
 on the everlasting human struggle for freedom.

THE FIRST STOP [2014]
Exploratory performance with the participation of 15 artists from different disciplines, on the theme of Fascism. When was the first time that you encountered fascism in your life? Artists wonder and map memories and images of citizens from all over Greece and from abroad.

Dark.Light [2014]
In the 6th Art Exhibition of the town of Elefsina with the theme of LIGHT / artists experiment with darkness and light creating a different space between the spectators and the works of art, while extracts of Plato’s ‘Republic’ are being heard.

From I to Me and from We to Together.

A project aiming at the creation of a theatrical documentary,
 where the focus is on the unit and the whole.
Ιn which way the ‘I’ (the self) is fulfilled?
How one becomes creative within a group?
Having as a point of reference the five basic emotions
Fear -Joy-Grief-Anger and Angst
five explorative 3-day events are created
 in five inactive stations of public transportation,
where audience and artists from various disciplines act and identify
 each emotion allying with it in the way towards fulfillment: 

• [project 1] FEAR took place on September 28, 29, 30, 2012
in the buildings of the ex-airport of Athens in Elliniko,
                                                                                 in a journey where 30 artists from various disciplines interacted
                                                                with the audience, in a journey of identification of fear, desire and choice.

• [ project 2] ANGER took place on April 5, 6, 7, 2013
in the building of the old KTEL (bus station) in the city of Ioannina,
in a journey  where 50 artists from various disciplines
 composed the cycle of human life and unraveled the anger that lies in it
 - interacting with the audience.

• [project 3] GRIEF took place on February 14, 15, 16, 2014
at the old train station of Drapetsona in Piraeus.
A journey with 55 artists from various disciplines and
with a central theme of social and personal Grief.
 Disappointment-Melancholy-Disaster-Tears-Sorrow-Pain-Sadness.

• [project 4] JOY took place on August 8, 9, 10, 2014
 at the port of Mytilene island as part of the program
 ‘9 islands unite their voices - Sea of Culture’, 
focusing on the human need to find little 
pieces of joy often ignoring one’s own heartbeat.
